Our annual Belgium road trip to NEMO33 and TODI Aquarium.

Nemo 33 was the World's first deepest pool for 10 years. Although it is no longer the deepest, don't let that put you off! It's still great fun, with a 35m deep tube and several areas at different depths it's still a fun experience and a box ticked.
TODI Aquarium is an old coal depot and was transformed into a 12m deep Aquarium that's 36m in diameter and holds approximately 5,000 tropical freshwater fish. It holds 6.5 million litres of water and is maintained at a toasty temperature of 25*C.
SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER
Meet up in Ferndown at approx 0230.
Drive to Euro Tunnel, grab some breakfast and jump on the train.
Drive from Calais to Nemo33.
Sign in at Nemo33 for 1 dive, followed by a lunch in their restaurant.
Drive into Brussels and check in to the hotel.
People are free to do as they please in the evening, but we will organise a meet up for those that would like to join a group. We'll head into the square & markets for food & drink.
SUNDAY 8TH DECEMBER
Depart from hotel at approx 0900
Drive to TODI Aquarium
Up to 2 hours dive in the aquarium
Have lunch nearby, then drive to Euro Tunnel
Arrive at Euro Tunnel, food/drink in the terminal, jump on the train and then drive back to the location we met up at.
Arrival back at Ferndown will be approximately 2130
You must be 18 years of age or above to book onto the trip.
You must be PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) when booking onto this trip.
Kit hire is included, with the exception of your own mask, snorkel, dive computer and swimwear.

Please note:
We will all meet at Abacus in Ferndown. Everyone will need to park their cars on the (public) road and board the minibus that we have hired. The group will travel in 2 17-seater minibuses throughout the weekend. Space can be tight so please pack lightly.
