*Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation are mandatory - these are done in a controlled environment at Vobster Quay in Frome.
*We recommend the following for your other dives:
Wreck Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Night Diver
Boat Diver
DSMB Diver
Enriched Air Diver
*Others available:
Drift Diver
Digital Underwater Imaging
Fish ID
Search & Recovery
What scuba gear will you use?
All equipment and cylinder fills are included in the price of your Advanced Open Water course where needed. However, at this stage in your diving, being an Advanced Diver is a time where you should start considering purchasing your own diving equipment. Pop into our dive centre for help & advise on choosing the right equipment for you and your style of diving.
It is a requirement that you have your own mask, snorkel and neoprene boots for health & safety reasons. If you wish to do the Dry Suit adventure dive we have some new Fourth Element Hydra suits available to use, but these are subject to availability.
*PLEASE NOTE:
By selecting the eLearning option you will receive your theory within 48 working hours and are required to pay the remaining balance of the course when you book into your practical sessions.
The cost of this course covers a day at Vobster for the 2 mandatory dives, and another day to cover the remaining 3 dives. If you run over these 2 allocated days you will be required to pay an extra training days fee. If you wish to do a training dive off the boat it will be an additional £60. Entry fees also apply at Vobster Quay.
Once you have purchased your course you will be given a password to allow you to book onto your training dives via our schedule page - https://bookwhen.com/dorsetdiving?tag=AOW
The site is dependent on what section you chose to do to complete your Advanced Open Water course. It is also dependent on weather, wind and tides - it may get cancelled last minute due to bad weather.
